DALC Programme

Building accessibility capability through the DALC Programme

Discover what our most recent DALC Programme participants say about their experience, the practical skills they have developed and the difference the programme is making to their work.

Without a doubt one of the best online learning programmes I’ve ever done! The genius of these modules is not only that they teach you how to design accessible and inclusive learning content but they are also incredible examples themselves of what this should look like.

Goodness. It has been a long while since I have enjoyed a learning programme as much as I have this one. I felt fully in control of the pacing at all times. On good days, I could finish a lesson within the time estimate, and on busier days, I could take my time to connect with the content. I learnt so much from it that I wasn’t aware of before. It’s been created in such a way that makes it suitable for everyone. The feeling of hope and positivity it leaves you with at the end is immensely powerful.

I can’t recommend this programme enough. It’s incredibly practical and structured to provide immediate, hands-on experience with designing accessible learning content. I was using the principles and examples 10 minutes after I started the course.

I'm loving the programme so much! Even though I knew quite a bit about the topic and have done my own interpretation of the WCAG guidelines for eLearning development, I’m finding lots of new information. Moreover, it's written with such care, and kindness, that I feel like I'm learning a lot in a non-judgemental, welcoming, inclusive environment – and that's a lot to say of an online experience in my opinion! I wanted to thank you for the immense work you've done on this course, it is beyond fabulous.

I am excited about this certification! The eLaHub DALC Programme is excellent. Now I can design for ALL learners. I say this as a practitioner who has her hands in some form of digital learning each day. Accessible design might be a continuous learning curve, but now I have the tools to help.

The programme is fantastic. Everyone working in our field should complete it. The content is genuinely impressive and thoughtfully structured, making it easy to fit around a busy workload without feeling overwhelming. It made learning a joy and gave me a real sense of achievement. What really stood out was how the programme consistently translates strategy and theory into practice, encouraging creativity and problem solving and showing how accessibility can be achieved through thoughtful design decisions.
