We exist to challenge the idea that accessibility in learning is a compliance task, a final check or a barrier to creativity. Our work proves the opposite. Accessibility is a catalyst for better design, more effective learning and meaningful innovation.
Founded by Susi Miller, a dyslexic entrepreneur and industry-leading eLearning accessibility expert, eLaHub was created to make accessible and inclusive learning the default. Susi is the author of the acclaimed Designing Accessible Learning Content (DALC) book, and eLaHub brings together L&D and accessibility professionals with extensive practical experience across teams, tools, platforms, and learning environments. Pronounced ‘Ella Hub’, our name is inspired by Susi’s neurodivergent daughters, Isab’elle’ and Frey’a’, and by her determination to improve learning for everyone after seeing first-hand the barriers they faced.
Since 2019, we’ve worked directly with more than 150 clients across a wide range of sectors, including major global brands. We’ve also spent hundreds of hours auditing real learning content, giving us a unique view of the current state of digital learning, the barriers learners continue to face and the practical changes that lead to meaningful improvement.
Our guidance is grounded in evidence, hands-on experience and insights drawn from real organisations and real learning content. We share what we have learned to help L&D professionals make informed decisions, build their own capability and create better experiences for every learner.
To date, we’ve helped more than 1,600 practitioners develop the practical skills and confidence to create accessible learning.
